Obviously, as you might be able to tell, I love beer. I discovered this on a trip to Cincinnati where I sat down at a Rock Bottom to enjoy a sampler of their brews. At the time, I was a novice drinker just past 21 who knew nothing of the craft industry. Thus, even Rock Bottom’s sometimes lackluster offerings were enough to hook me immediately.
Since that time, I’ve dedicated my travels to exploring good beer. I’ve lived in five states and managed to hit most every brewpub in the area at each. Plus, every time I travel somewhere – whether for pleasure or business – I always make it to the local brewery. Such is how I’ve managed to hit roughly 230 brewpubs in the past seven years.
When I’m not drinking, I’m exercising to burn off the beer calories, enjoying the great outdoors, reading a good book, playing a bit of guitar, crafting posts for my other blog (Big Ten Science, if you like cool science, you should check it out), or working.
Okay, so I might be watching The Walking Dead or True Blood too. Sue me.
